Timing mark (V mark) on tooth of crankshaft gear (6) must be in alignment with the timing mark (V mark) between the teeth on cluster gear (5) as shown. Also, timing mark (F mark) between the teeth on cluster gear (5) must be in alignment with the timing mark (F mark) on the tooth of balancer gear (7). "R" mark on balancer gear (7) is only for use with the timing gears on the rear of the engine. Timing mark (V mark) on tooth of cluster gear (13) must be in alignment with the timing mark (V mark) between the teeth on the crankshaft gear (15). Also, timing mark (R mark) on tooth of cluster gear (13) must be in alignment with the timing mark (R mark) between the teeth on balancer gear (16). "F" mark on balancer gear (16) is not for use with timing gears on rear of the engine.
