Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the bottom guards. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guard - Remove".

Start the machine. Move one side of the machine onto suitable cribbing (1).

On the opposite side of the machine, remove two bolts (2) that hold the lower pad assembly to the upper pad assembly.
Remove two bolts (3) that hold the lower pad assembly to the equalizer bar.

Move the upper pad assembly toward the center of the machine. Use a long bar (4) to make a compression of the lower pad assembly and remove lower pad assembly (5) from the equalizer bar.

Remove upper pad assembly (6) from the equalizer bar.
