14. Connect 457-6476 B+ Cable Assembly on the junction block. Tighten to a specified torque of 50 +/- 10 N.m.
15. Connect 457-6478 B- Cable Assembly on the disconnect switch. Tighten to a specified torque of 16 +/- 2 N.m.
16. Connect the 457-6478 B- cable on battery terminal. The torque should be at 7.2 +/-1.6 N.m. Attach the B- cable using 8T-1887 and 8T-1888 clips, 8X-5489 sleeve, 8T-4121 washer and 8T-4136 bolt. Refer to Image 1.13.1.

17. Connect 457-6476 and 457-6480 Cable Assemblies on the battery ports. Tighten to a specified torque of 7.2 +/- 1.6 N.m.
18. Attach the B- cable on the B+ cable by using 7K-1181 strap. Refer to Image 1.14.1.

19. Check that there is a good flex joint between hold down clip and fender clip. Refer to Image 1.15.1.

20. Install the left enclosure.
Group Number 2
Rework Procedure for Machines Equipped with the 369-2430 Standard Battery Package:
1. Turn the disconnect switch OFF. Remove the left machine enclosure in order to gain access to the cable routings and connections. Refer to Image2.2.1.

2. Remove the battery cover. Refer to Image2.3.1.

3. Disconnect the current cables (B+, B- and B+/B-) from batteries, from junction block, and from the disconnect switch. Refer to Image 2.4.1.
4. Cut the straps and remove the cables.

5. Install new 458-8984, 458-8985, and 422-5316 Cable Assemblies, attach them with 7K-1181 Straps and P-clips (use existing P-clips). Refer to Image 2.5.1.

6. Connect 458-8984 B+ Cable Assemblies on the junction block. Tighten to a specified torque of 50 +/- 10 N.m.
7. Connect 458-8985 B- Cable Assemblies on the disconnect switch. Tighten to a specified torque of 16 +/-2 N.m.
8. Connect 458-8984, 458-8985, and 422-5316 Cable Assemblies on the battery ports. Tighten to a specified torque of 7.2 +/-1.6 N.m.
9. Install the left enclosure.
