2. Disconnect electrical cables (1) and (2) from their respective terminals. 3. Disconnect oil inlet hose (3) that goes from emergency steering pump to steering tank.4. Disconnect oil outlet hose (4), that goes to the flow control valve from the pump. 5. Remove four nuts (6) and lockwashers from the studs and bracket and remove emergency steering pump (5).Install Emergency Steering Pump
1. Put emergency steering pump (2) into position on the vehicle and install four lockwashers and nuts (1) on the studs to hold the pump in place. 2. Connect oil outlet hose (5) and oil inlet hose (4) to their respective ports on the steering pump.3. Connect electrical cables (3) and (6) to their respective terminals.4. Fill the steering system hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
