This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4131" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The chamfers in the servo orifice bores were machined too deep in the propel motor housings of certain CB-534C and CB634C Compactors. In these motors, the o-ring seals may fail allowing oil to leak past the o-ring. This can result in harsh shifting of the motor between high and low range. A special 1491117/">149-1117 Valve Kit, containing longer valves can be installed.

Attach.(1-Rework Procedure)Rework Procedure
1. Remove Supply Orifice Valve (A), Illustration 1, from motor housing.2. Install new valve (with screen pressed into end of valve) into bore. Tighten to a torque of 37 N m (27 ft lb).3. Remove Drain Orifice Valve (B), Illustration 1, from motor housing and install remaining valve into bore. Do not interchange valves. Tighten to a torque of 37 N m (27 ft lb). The new valves have been stamped with an "L" into the head of the valve to indicate that it is a special longer valve. These special valves cannot be used in a motor housing that has been machined to the correct depth.
Motors with an incorrectly machined housing can be identified by the serial number on the motor. The following motor serial numbers are affected:96-45-5849 through 96-45-585396-46-15876 through 96-46-1588096-47-20742 through 96-47-2074596-47-20766 through 96-47-2077296-48-27099 through 96-48-2711496-49-30678 through 96-49-3068796-49-30954 through 96-49-3096296-50-33933 through 96-50-3393796-51-35322 through 96-51-35326
