Hoist Control
(R) RAISE(H) HOLD(F) FLOAT - traveling and loading position.(L) LOWERExtended Braking Control
Pull lever down to apply rear oil cooled brakes. Push lever up to release brakes. Control position determines the amount of braking. The farther back the control, the more the braking effort.Front Wheel Brake Control
Switch control to ON position for both front and rear brake operation, when service brake pedal is depressed. Switch control to OFF position for rear brake only operation, when service brake pedal is depressed.Emergency Brake Control
Pull lever down to apply emergency brakes. Push lever up to release emergency brakes.
Do not use emergency brakes for parking.
Emergency Steering Switch
If the emergency steering was used during operation, immediately park vehicle in a safe location. Inspect the machine and correct condition which made use of the emergency steering necessary.
Push switch to NORMAL for normal operation. Emergency steering light will come on when the switch is moved to the ON position. Push switch to ON if a malfunction occurs in the steering system, or truck engine stops.Emergency Steering: Test
To minimize battery drain, leave switch ON only long enough to test emergency steering.
1. With engine stopped, push emergency steering switch to ON.2. Turn steering wheel right and left. Push switch to NORMAL.If emergency steering did not function properly, contact your Caterpillar dealer.Windshield Wiper Switch
Turn clockwise for ON and counterclockwise for OFF.
