Use system hydraulics to raise C-frame assembly (1) and position suitable blocking under C-frame assembly (1). Lower C-frame assembly (1) on suitable blocking.
Release system hydraulic pressure.

Remove guard (2) .

Remove bolt (3) and disconnect link assembly (4) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to cylinder assembly (8). The weight of the cylinder assembly (8) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Remove bolt (5), retainer (6), and pin (7). Reposition and secure cylinder assembly (8) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to cylinder assembly (9). The weight of the cylinder assembly (9) is approximately 81 kg (180 lb). Remove bolt (11), retainer (12), and pin (10). Position suitable blocking and lower cylinder assembly (9) on suitable blocking and secure cylinder assembly (9). Repeat for opposite side.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to bulldozer blade (13). The weight of bulldozer blade (13) is approximately 1814 kg (4000 lb). Apply slight lifting tension to bulldozer blade (13) in order to remove bolts (15), bearing cap (16), and shims (14). Remove bulldozer blade (13) .Installation Procedure
Install bulldozer blade (13) in the reverse order of removal.Note: Use an equal number of shims (14) behind each bearing plate.
Measure the gap between bearing cap (16) and the bearing plate to determine the number of shims (14). Add one additional shim (14) to the total.
