Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install pins (42), spring (43), and washers (44) into barrel (39).
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to install retaining ring (41) into barrel (39).

Install bearing (40) on barrel (39).
Install pistons (37) and retainer (38) into barrel (39).

Raise temperature of bearing cone (36). Install bearing cone (36) onto shaft (34).

Install spring (35).
Install bearings (33) and shaft (34).
Install swashplate (32).Note: Ensure that spring (35) is properly aligned with locator on the bottom of swashplate (32).

Install piston (31).

Install plug (30) and the O-ring seal.

Use wax string or similar item to install rotating group (29).

Install spacer (27). Install bearing cone (26) and O-ring seal (28).

Install thrust plate (24) and O-ring seal (25). Note: Use Tooling (B) to hold thrust plate (24) onto the head.

Install head (23) and bolts (22).

Install screw assembly (21), O-ring seal (20), spring (18), spring (17), retainer (16), spool (15), and valve (19).
Install screw assembly (13), O-ring seal (11), spring (10), spring (9), retainer (8), spool (7), and valve (12).
Install the O-ring seal and plug (14).
Install the O-ring seal and plug (6).

Install the gasket, valve group (1), and bolts (5).
Install the O-ring seals, block (3), adapter (4), and bolts (2).End By:
Install the coupler.
Install the piston pump.
