The opening in the rear of the machine serves as an alternate exit from the cab. The rear window must be removed in order to use the alternate exit. The rear window can be removed by pulling the ring at the top of the window in order to remove the strip that locks the glass in place. Once the locking strip has been removed, the glass can be pushed out of the window opening.

Installing locking strip (18) within seal (17) (17) 206-7951 Seal (18) 206-7952 Locking Strip
On a flat surface, assemble the seal for the rear window by installing the 206-7952 Locking Strip (18) within the 206-7951 Seal (17). Start installing the locking strip about 15.2 cm (6 inch) from the end of the seal. The offset will prevent the ends of the locking strip and the ends of the seal from occurring at the same location. See Illustration 8.
Check in order to ensure that locking strip (18) is fully seated within seal (17) .
Unseat a 5.08 cm (2 inch) length of the locking strip in the middle of the length of seal (17). Use the 5H-4845 Seal Installation Tool (20) to unseat the locking strip from the seal.
