Operate the machine in the reverse direction. If the 207-9711 Track (1) on the left side rubs the machine frame, you must reverse the 210-0825 Track Tensioner Tool Gp (2). Most of the rubbing will be eliminated when you reverse the track tensioner tool group.Use the following procedure in order to reverse the track tensioner tool group.
Adjust the 210-0825 Track Tensioner Tool Gp (2) in order to detension the track and alleviate the pressure on the tensioner.
Disconnect one end of the tensioner by removing the appropriate bolt and hardware.
Rotate the end of the tensioner in the clockwise direction for 180 degrees or in the counterclockwise direction for 180 degrees.
By using the bolt and the hardware that was removed in step 2, connect the tensioner to the motor frame. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 370 50 N m (270.0 37.0 lb ft).
Adjust the tensioner for the proper track tension. For the proper adjustment procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7732, "247B, 257B, 267B, 277B and 2487B Multi Terrain Loaders", "Track Adjustment for the 247B and 257B".
Check the track tension in order to ensure that the track does not rub the frame when you operate the machine in either direction. If the track still rubs the frame, replace the 207-9711 Track (1) .
If the track still rubs the machine frame, replace the 234-0740 Motor Frame (3) .
