1. Start the machine, inspect for leaks, carefully move the loader and observe the hoses. The position of the grommets may need to be changed to allow a full range of motion without straining the hoses.2. Remove all oil and other contaminants from the outside of the 128-0180 Valve and install 128-4328 Film (37). See Illustration 17. The 128-4328 Film must be attached to the 128-0180 Valve. The 128-4328 Film contains vital information about the proper operation of the 128-0180 Valve.

Improper attachment of attachments could result in injury or death.Do not operate this machine until you have a positive indication that the coupler pins are fully engaged.To Check engagement: 1. Keep the attachment close to the ground2. Push the tilt control to tilt the attachment down.3. Put down pressure on the attachment.4. Back the machine up and make sure there is not movement between the attachment and the coupler.
Leaving the quick coupler pin switch in the UNLOCKED position and failure to move the ball valve lever to the vertical position could result in injury or death.

Auxiliary hoses for attachments must be removed before the quick coupler pins are disengaged.Pulling the attachments with auxiliary hoses connected could result in machine damage.
Disengage. Push the red button (1) forward and push down on the top of the quick coupler pin switch (2) in order to allow movement of the coupler pins. When the quick coupler is in the UNLOCKED position, the coupler pins can be engaged or disengaged. Also the handle for the ball valve must be in the HORIZONTAL position (3) in order to allow movement of the coupler pins. The coupler pins are engaged with the multipurpose control and disengaged with the multipurpose control. While the quick coupler pin switch is in the UNLOCKED position, move the multipurpose lever forward to position (4) in order to disengage the coupler pins.

Illustration 23Engage. While the handle for the ball valve is in the HORIZONTAL position, the quick coupler pins can be engaged with the quick coupler pin switch in the unlocked position. Move the multipurpose lever backward to position (5) in order to engage the quick coupler pins. After the quick coupler pins are engaged, return the handle for the ball valve to the VERTICAL position (6) in order to prevent movement of the quick coupler pins.
