Start By:a. remove brake master and power cylinder 1. Remove three bolts (3) and make a separation between brake master cylinder (1) and brake power cylinder (2). 2. Remove yoke (4), the push rod and boot (5).
Do not remove retainer ring (7) unless cover (6) is held position with a press. Failure to hold the cover will let the spring tension release rapidly and result in personal injury.
3. Use tool (A) and a press to compress cover (6) enough to remove retainer ring (7) with tooling (B). 4. Slowly release the spring tension.5. Remove cover (6), power piston (8) and connector (9) as a unit. Remove springs (10) and (11) from the cylinder housing.6. Remove cover (6) and power piston (8) from the valve assembly. Remove and inspect the seals from cover (6) and power piston (8). 7. Remove large retainer ring (12) and remove valve assembly (13) and spring (14) from connector (9). 8. Remove retainer ring (15), washer (16), seal (17), white nylon ring (18) and reaction piston (19) from the valve assembly (13).9. Remove remove retainer ring (20), piston cups (21) and (22) and back-up ring (23) from valve assembly (13). The lips of piston cups (21) and (22) should face each other upon assembly.10. Remove seal (17) from piston (19). 11. Remove setscrew (25) and ball (26) from the valve assembly. 12. Remove retainer ring, washer and seal cup (27) from the power cylinder housing. 13. Remove plug (28), spring (29) and relief valve (30) from the power cylinder housing. 14. Remove plug (31) and screen (32) from the power cylinder housing. The following steps are for the assembly of
