When reporting the repair, use "PI30458" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI30458" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code. The information supplied in this serviceletter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Dealers will not need to order parts for thisProgram. A replacement Engine Emissions Label for each Affected Machineis enclosed with the Owner Notification Letter and mailed directly to theowner (sample copy attached, for reference).ACTION REQUIRED
No Dealer action is needed, unless the Dealeris on record as the Owner of the machine. The Owner Notification Letterinforms the Customer that the Emission Label on the valve cover of theengine may have been omitted. Each Owner Notification Letter includes areplacement Engine Emission Label, and requests the customer to apply itto the valve cover on the engine of the Affected Machine.In cases where the Dealer is the machine owner(Dealer inventory, rental fleet, etc.), the Dealer will receive the OwnerNotification Letter, and is expected to install the label. If unit hasbeen sold, and the Dealer receives the Owner Notification Letter, the Dealeris expected to inform the Customer and forward the Owner Notification Letterand label for the Customer to install.For any questions, Dealers may call ProductSupport Ph. 309-578-3672.OWNER NOTIFICATION
U.S. and Canadian owners will receive the attachedOwner Notification along with an emission label. A pre-addressed and postage-paid"return envelope" will be included for the owner to return the Owner NotificationLetter and Emission Label if the owner no longer has the machine, or ifthe machine already has an emissions label.SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
No parts, labor, or other expenses are allowed.Replacement Engine Emission Labels are included with the Owner Notificationletters, and are expected to be installed by the owner at the owner's convenience.This Service Letter is intended to provide a permanent record of AffectedMachines for which Owner Notification Letters and replacement Labels weresent, and to inform Dealers.
