The new 283-5973 Main Hydraulic Pump Gp is available for the direct replacement of the former 250-2564 Main Hydraulic Pump Gp. The new main hydraulic pump group is used in the 330C Excavators that are listed.The new 283-5975 Main Hydraulic Pump Gp is available for the direct replacement of the former 247-8975 Main Hydraulic Pump Gp. The new pump group is used in the 345B Series II Excavators that are listed.The new pumps have an improved coating on the piston rings. The improved coating prevents excessive wear of the piston rings.A broken piston ring will produce the following symptoms:
excessive noise from the machine
low pressure delivery from the pump
excessive vibration in the pumpReplace the former main hydraulic pump gp with a new main hydraulic pump gp if the symptoms that are listed are present.
