3600 Family Of EnginesDescription of Change: Improved gaskets are used in the central structure cover groups, jacket water lines groups, jacket water heater water connection groups and water aftercooler groups on the 3600 Family Of Engines. The improved gaskets are made of a different material that will help prevent air or coolant leaks. Leaks on the air inlet system will show up as oil leaks due to the oil metering system.Adaptable As: The new 9Y1202 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 7C5457 Gasket in the 1W884 and 1W906 Central Structure Cover Groups (see Illustration 1) and the 7C9331 Jacket Water Heater Water Connection Group and the 1W882, 1W916, 4W369 and 7W4986 Jacket Water Lines Groups (see Illustration 2) on 3612 and 3616 Engines.

The new 9Y1204 Gasket (jacket water cover) is a direct replacement for the former 7C5458 Gasket in the 1W135 and 1W836 Central Structure Cover Groups (see Illustration 4) and the 7C9402 Jacket Water Heater Water Connection Group used on 3606 and 3608 Engines.
