Rework Procedure

1. Unplug the electrical connector and pull it through the base of the fan assembly.
2. Remove the front half of the fan guard.
3. Loosen the set screw and remove the fan blade.
4. Remove the two nuts that hold the rear half of the fan guard and the fan motor onto the bracket.
5. Install the new 170-5335 change 02 fan motor and the rear half of the fan guard onto the bracket with the existing nuts and tighten to a torque of 25 +/- 6 Nm (18 +/- 4 lb ft).
6. Install the fan blade ensuring there is clearance between the fan and the guards and tighten the set screw to a torque of 4 +/- 0.5 Nm (3 +/- 0.4 lb ft).
7. Install the front fan guard, route the harness through the base of the fan assembly, and plug the connector in.
8. Test for proper opertion.
