Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Park the machine. Refer to Operation and maintenance Manual, "Parking".

Position Tooling (A) under bottom guard (1).
Remove bolts (2) and cap (3). Repeat this step for the opposite side.
Use Tooling (A) in order to lower bottom guard (1).

Remove bolts (4) and bolts (5). Use two people in order to remove drive shaft (6). The weight of drive shaft (6) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Installation Procedure

Use two people in order to install drive shaft (6). The weight of drive shaft (6) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).
Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft).
Install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft).

Use Tooling (A) in order to raise bottom guard (1).
Install cap (3) and bolts (2). Repeat this step for the opposite side.
