1. Remove six bolts (2) and trunnion (1) from the timing gear cover. 2. Remove crankshaft front seal (4) from trunnion (1).3. Remove O-ring seal (3) from the trunnion if necessary.4. Reposition trunnion (1) on the timing gear cover, and install enough bolts to hold it in place. This will provide support for the tooling when removing the wear sleeve from the crankshaft.5. Remove the wear sleeve from the crankshaft. See Remove Crankshaft Front Seal And Wear Sleeve.6. Remove the bolts and trunnion (1) from the timing gear cover. The following steps are for the installation of the front support trunnion.7. Install O-ring seal (3) on trunnion (1) if it was removed.8. Put trunnion (1) in position on the timing gear cover, and install six bolts (2) that hold it in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb.ft.).9.
