D     1U-8846     Gasket Sealant     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Apply Tooling (C) on the locating pin and on the pin bore.
Apply Tooling (D) to the mating surface of the frame and swing drive housing.

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to position swing motor and swing drive (19). The weight of swing motor and swing drive (19) is approximately 544 kg (1200 lb).
Install bolts (20). Tighten bolts (20) to a torque of 900 100 N m (664 74 lb ft).
Remove Tooling (B) from the swing motor and swing drive (19) .

Position elbow (18) and install bolts (17) .

install panel assembly (16) and install guard assemblies (14) and (15) .

Install bracket assembly (11) and panel (12) .
Secure harness assembly (13) to panel (12) .

Install hose assemblies (8), (9), and (10) .

Install panel (7), brace (5), and guard (6) .

Install bracket assembly (3) .
Reposition hose assemblies (4) and install clips (1) .

Remove Tooling (A) from the hydraulic tank. Install the cap onto the hydraulic tank.
Install refrigerant receiver-dryer (2). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Refrigerant Receiver-Dryer - Remove and Install".End By:
Install the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Remove".
Install the refrigerant condenser. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Refrigerant Condenser - Install".
