Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Put identification marks on all line, on all hoses, on all wires and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses and all tubes. This will help prevent fluid loss and this will help to prevent contaminants from entering the system.1. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Tank Oil - Change" for the machine that is being serviced. The hydraulic tank capacity is 258 L (68 US gal). 2. Remove terminal covers (1) and (6). Disconnect electrical cables (2) and (5) from electric drive pump (3).3. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (8). Remove four nuts (7) and the washers. Remove electric drive pump (3). The weight of electric drive pump (3) is 23 kg (51 lb).Installation Procedure
