Assembly Procedure
Reference: Refer to Specifications, "Transmission Hydraulic Control" in the Service Manual for your machine.
Make sure that the components of the transmission hydraulic control valve are clean. Apply clean oil to the components. Inspect the O-ring seals. Replace any seals that are worn. Replace any seals that are damaged.

Install these components in valve spool (16): ball (23), spring (20), retainer (22) and snap ring (21).

Install these components in the manifold: stop (15), spring (19), valve spool (16), slug (18) and plug and O-ring seal (17).

Install adjustment screw (14). Reference: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Main Relief Valve - Adjust" in the Service Manual for your machine.
Place plate (13) on the manifold and install bolts (12). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).

Install these components in modulating valve (2): spring (7), valve spool (11), seat (8), ball (10) and cartridge (9). Tighten cartridge (9) to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Install pressure tap (6). Tighten the pressure tap to a torque of 14 4 N m (10 3 lb ft).

Install these components on modulating valve (2): solenoid coil (5), spacer (4) and locknut (3). Tighten locknut (3) to a torque of 9.5 1.5 N m (84 13 lb in).

Install modulating valves (2) and install bolts (1) on the manifold. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). End By:
Install the transmission hydraulic control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Install".
