Location of guard on scraper draft frame. 631D Scraper shown.The new guard has notches cut along its length for less weight, with flanges between the notches. The flanges have holes with a steel tube in each hole for bolts to clamp (fasten) the guard around the lines. This holds the guard in place better, so it will not loosen and move out of position. The former guard was a rubber hose, split (cut) along its complete length and held in place with band-type hose clamps. It was possible for the hose clamps to loosen and permit the guard to move out of position.
Adaptable As: Direct replacement when the new parts are used together. The new parts can be installed on 631D Tractor-Scrapers 24W1-Up, 28W1-Up, and 29W1-Up, and on 637D Tractor-Scrapers 26W1-Up, 27W1-Up, 20W1-Up, 21W1-Up, 22W1-Up, and 23W1-Up.
