Unlock latch (4) and open engine hood (5).

Remove the locking pin and raise support bar (6) in order to secure the engine hood. Install the locking pin in order to secure the support bar.

Unlock latch (7) and open right engine door (8).
Assemble the tooling. Connect Tool (C) to Tool (B). Connect Tool (B) to Tool (A).

Remove cap from pressure tap (9).
Connect Tool (C) to pressure tap (9).

Connect Tool (F) and Tool (G) to Tool (E). Connect Tool (F) to diagnostic connector (10). Connect Tool (G) to USB port on Tool (D).
Move engine start switch (3) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Launch the Plus+1 program on the computer in order to allow the engine to go into high idle. Note: First time users need to perform the tasks in the Communication and Connections Wizard. This wizard allows the Windows® operating system to recognize the USB device. Follow the on screen instructions.

Go to "Open Diagnostic File" line (11).
Click "Open File" button (12).

Select "Cat Diagnostic Files" (13) from the menu.
Click "Open" button (14).

Note file name (15) on the "Open Diagnostic File" line. Select the file name from drop-down menu (16).
Click "Open" button (17).

Check "Active Codes" (20). Clear any open "Active Codes".
Click on "Status" icon (18).
Select "Machine Control" (19) from the "Available ECMs".

Click on "Throttle Test" (21).

Click "Enable" button (22).

Field (22) and field (23) should read "Enable". Note: The "Throttle Test" option will allow propel lever (1) to control engine rpm without engaging the propel system.
Move propel lever (1) to the FORWARD position.
Operate the engine at high idle. Engine speed should be 2300 50 rpm. Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (H). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 5.6° C (110 10° F).
Record pressure on Tool (A). The pressure should be 3200 200 kPa (465 30 psi).
Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position in order to operate the engine at low idle. Engine speed should be 1000 25 rpm
Move engine start switch (3) to the OFF position.
If the pressure recorded in Step 28 was not within specification, go to Step 32. If the pressure was within specification, go to Step 35.

Loosen locknut (25) on the charge relief valve. In order to increase pressure, rotate adjustment screw (24) clockwise. In order to decrease pressure, rotate adjustment screw (24) counterclockwise.
Hold adjustment screw (24) in place, and tighten locknut (25).
Go to Step 12.
Remove Tool (C) from pressure tap (9).
Remove tooling from diagnostic connector (10).
Close right engine door (8) and secure latch (7).
Remove and lower support bar (6). Secure the support bar with the locking pin. Close engine hood (5).
