Install plug (14) and seal (11).Note: Apply a light coat of Tooling (A) to the shaft chamfer and the seal running surface. Avoid ceramic sealing surfaces.
Install shaft (12), thrust washers (8), and bolts (7).Note: While installing shaft (12), slowly turn shaft (12) until thrust washers (8) bottoms with the housing.

Lightly coat shaft (12) with clean engine oil prior to installation of impeller (9).
Install seal (10) on to shaft (12) to a working height of 11.303 0.127 cm (4.45 0.05000 inch).
Install impeller (9) to a depth of 0.00 0.15 mm (0.00000 0.00591 inch) with the end of the shaft (12).

Lower temperature of bearing (13). Install bearing (13) in the housing assembly. Make sure that the oil hole in bearing (13) is aligned with the oil passage in housing assembly (X). Bearing (11) must be installed to a depth of 1.5 0.5 mm (0.02 0.02 inch). After assembly, the inner diameter of bearing (13) must be 75.000 0.055 mm (2.9527 0.0022 inch)

Install plug (6), plug (5), plugs (4), and plug (3).

Lightly lubricate the seal groove in adapter (2) with clean engine oil. Install the O-ring seal, adapter (2), and bolts (1).End By:
