Removal Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Turn the power disconnect switch to the off position.
Remove screws (3).
Remove cover (1).
Remove screws (4).
Remove cover (5) from console (2).

Remove bolts (6).
Remove transmission position sensor (7).
Disconnect harness assembly (8) from the back of transmission position sensor (7). Installation Procedure

Connect harness assembly (8) to the back of transmission position sensor (7).
Install transmission position sensor (7).
Install bolts (6).

Install cover (5) onto console (2).
Install screws (4).
Install cover (1).
Install screws (3).
