View of the cover that needs to be removed
Remove four bolts (1), and one cover (2) from the existing roller group. Then discard the bolts and discard the cover.

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto the existing roller assembly (3) for the elevator chain. The weight of roller assembly (3) for the elevator chain is approximately 46 kg (101 lb).

Remove nut (4) from bolt (5). Remove bolt (5) from roller group (3). Remove the existing roller group for the elevator chain (3) from the frame. Retain the 4B-5326 Washers (10) for reassembly. Then discard roller group (3) .
Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for the removal of the roller group on the other side of the machine.Install the new Roller Group for the Elevator Chain

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto 310-3510 Elevator Chain Roller Gp (6). The weight of the 310-3510 Elevator Chain Roller Gp (6) is approximately 46 kg (101 lb). Position the 310-3510 Elevator Chain Roller Gp (6) on the elevator frame.

The view of the new roller group bolted onto the frame.
Install bolt (9) into 310-3510 Elevator Chain Roller Gp (6). Install 7X-0451 Full Nut (7) and 3S-7023 Washer (8) onto bolt (9). Tighten nut (7) to a torque of 1230 70 N m (907 52 lb ft).Note: Check for proper alignment of the 310-3510 Elevator Chain Roller Gp (6) with the drive sprocket on the 615C only. The proper alignment is achieved by using the 4B-5326 Washers (10) that were removed during the disassembly.

Install the new gasket (12) and the new cover (13) onto the 310-3510 Elevator Chain Roller Gp (6). Install bolts (11). Fill the 310-3510 Elevator Chain Roller Gp (6) with grease (C) after the new roller group is installed.

Remove the chain from the flight and the frame of the machine. Remove Tooling (A) .
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the installation of the idler for the other side of the machine.
