GNSS Receivers (3D Cat® GRADE Display Message)
The Cat® GRADE system may show the following message on the 3D GRADE system display related to the GNSS receiver connectivity:
GNSS Error (Guidance lost)GNSS Error
Illustration 1 g06198065The GNSS Error messages will appear on the 3D GRADE system display TD-520. The GNSS Error messages will appear, when the GNSS or the correction signal is lost or the signal strength is not within the system limitation to establish an RTK level of accuracy positioning.
Illustration 2 g06198077
RH/LH system status when the GNSS Receivers are operating properly.
Illustration 3 g06198082
System status when the system has an error with the Right GNSS Receiver
The system status will provide more details on the cause of this message. By selecting the "System Status" menu screen and then selecting the right or left GNSS receivers, the details can be viewed.
Illustration 4 g06198085When RH or LH Receivers is selected from the "System Status" menu screen, the following message will appear on the 3D system display TD-520
Configuration Status, if it is active or not
The GNSS Model
The Firmware version used on the receiver
The accuracy Mode
Vertical GNSS receiver precision offset
Horizontal GNSS receiver precision offset
Satellite Count (the number of satellites the GNSS receiver is receiving data from)
The signal Integrity percentage
Latency
Illustration 5 g06198095The system will show "Configuration Failed" message, if the RH/LH GNSS receiver configuration failed.
Illustration 6 g06198103To view more details about the GNSS receivers data, follow the steps below:
Log in to system Technician User Interface (Tech UI).
From the "Monitor" menu screen, select "GNSS Details".
Tap the screen to view the details.
