Keypad (1) is used for entering information into the Payload Control System.

The left arrow key can also be used to erase the digits in reverse order. The right arrow key can also be used to bring back the original value of a parameter."ID" key (5) - This key is used to enter the ID number of the operator (maximum of seven numbers)."F1/Menu" key (6) - This key accesses the main menu for the Payload Control System."F2/Clear" key (7) - This key is used for clearing the current entry, for aborting a calibration without losing the previous values, and for deleting bucket weights."F3/Delay" key (8) - This key is used to enter the delay code for the Payload Control System.Basic Operations

Any active events must be acknowledged by pressing the "OK" key on keypad (1) before the initial display screen will appear.Press the "F1/Menu" key on keypad (1) in order to access the main menu. The first two items in this menu will be displayed on message center display (9).Selecting Menu Items
Illustration 5 g00650864Each menu item is preceded by a number. To select a menu item, simply press the corresponding numeric keys on the keypad. The system will accept the selection without needing to press the "OK" key. Also, the arrow keys can be used to scroll through the list of menu items until the desired menu item is shown on the message center display.Note: A menu item can be selected even if the menu item is not being shown in the current display. However, it is better to scroll through the menu items until the desired menu item is shown. A major software update may affect the numbering sequence of the menu items.If the wrong menu item in the Payload Control System is selected, press the "OK" key in order to go back to the previous menu. The "OK" key can be used repeatedly to back up all the way out of the Payload Control System. If the operator has not entered any new values for the selected menu item, the "OK" key can be used to exit the menu without changing the current values for the selected menu item.The one exception to the rule of using the "OK" key to exit a menu without changing the current value is a calibration procedure. In this case, the calibration must be aborted by pressing the "F2/Clear" key or by shutting off the machine. If the "OK" key is pressed during a calibration procedure, the calibration will be completed without using a weight of known value.
