This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI32678" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32678" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
Certain PL631 revision -06 radios need to have firmware updated due to a defect in the low level firmware. The defect can cause the radio to repeatedly reboot, resulting in loss of communication on the CAN/J1939. The radio can also remain locked and powered, resulting in possible battery drain. This failure will not be detected by CAT ET. The blue LED will remain lit on the radio beyond 30 seconds after Key-off. Once updated firmware (2016B or later) firmware is installed, this issue should no longer occur.
