Information:


Avoid prolonged skin contact with isopropyl alcohol. Avoid breathing the vapors in enclosed areas without adequate ventilation and do not smoke.Isopropyl alcohol is flammable. Do not use near open flame, welding operations, or around heated surfaces exceeding 482°C (900°F).
Remove all dust by using a lint free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Wipe the isopropyl alcohol in the same direction with one side of the cloth. Turn over the cloth and reapply more isopropyl alcohol. Wipe the surface in the same direction again. Repeat this procedure until the cloth remains clean.
Allow the isopropyl alcohol to dry for 10 minutes.
Apply a thin coat of 166-1359 Primer to the underside of the new roof assembly. The primer must be spread in the 60 mm (2.36 inch) wide path around the roof assembly. The primer's width should be sufficient to ensure full contact with the adhesive to the roof assembly after the adhesive is compressed. Allow the primer to dry for 30 minutes. Refer to Illustration 2 for more details.
Around the center of the roof assembly, apply an 80 mm (3.0 inch) band of the 166-1359 Primer . Allow the primer to dry for 30 minutes. The primer's width should be sufficient to ensure full contact with the adhesive to the roof assembly after the adhesive is compressed. Refer to View D in Illustration 2 for placement of the primer.
Use the 8T-7753 Surface Reconditioning Pad to score a 60 mm (2.36 inch) border around the top of the ROPS. Refer to Illustration 2.
Clean the scored surface of the ROPS with isopropyl alcohol. Allow the ROPS to dry for 10 minutes.
Apply a thin coat of 121-3911 Adhesive to the 60 mm (2.36 inch) wide border. Allow the adhesive to dry for 30 minutes.

(E) Guide bolt (5) 170-5495 Seals (6) 170-5493 Spacers
Install the four guide bolts (E) into the four holes which are used to bolt the roof assembly to the ROPS. Refer to Illustration 3.
Install the four 170-5493 Spacers (6) over the guide bolts. Refer to Illustration 3.
Install four 170-5495 Seals (5) on the steel ROPS plate. The adhesive side of the seals must face the ROPS.
Install the four rubber bonding spacers which were removed in Step 1. Install the spacers within the 80 mm (3.00 inch) border around the plate for the beacon light. Refer to Illustration 2 for placement.Note: If the spacers are missing, use the 110-7524 Buttons .
Apply a 10 mm (0.39 inch) tall bead of 121-3909 Adhesive around the border of the underside of the roof assembly. Apply a 10 mm (0.39 inch) tall bead of 121-3909 Adhesive to the border around the plate for the beacon light.

The roof assembly (1) can be correctly aligned on the ROPS (B) by use of the guide bolts. The correct alignment allows the adhesives (F) to join the primed areas (G) .
