Remove bolt (1) from the lower left corner of the belt guard.

Remove bolt (2) from the lower right corner of the belt guard.

Remove two bolts (3) from the top of the belt guard.

Remove belt guard (4) from the front of the engine.

Remove electrical connection (5) from the back of the alternator.

Remove rubber boot. Remove nut (6) and remove electrical wire (7) from the alternator.

Remove bolt (8). Move the alternator in order to release alternator belt (9) .
Remove alternator belt (9) from the alternator. Remove bolt (10) and remove alternator (11) .Installation procedure

Install alternator (11) and install bolt (10) .
Install alternator belt (9) on the alternator pulley.Note: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7137 or Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7415 for the correct tightening procedure for the alternator belt.
Tighten bolt (8) when the proper belt tension is achieved.

Install electrical wire (7) on the alternator terminal. Install nut (6) and tighten. Install the rubber boot on the terminal.

Install electrical connection (5) on the rear of the alternator.

Install belt guard (4) on the front of the engine.
Secure the cover of the belt guard (4) with two bolts (3) .

Secure the lower right corner of belt guard (4) with bolt (2) .

Secure the lower left corner of belt guard (4) with bolt (1) .
Connect both terminals of the battery. Install rubber battery covers.
Move the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
Start the engine. Check for the proper operation of the alternator.
Shut the engine OFF. Check the alternator belt for the proper tension.
Close the hood.
