Earlier D9L Oil Filter Base Shown(1) Torque for the center studs under the filter base [put 9S3263 Thread Lock on last 10.6 mm (.42 in) of thread at base end of studs] ... 80 14 N m (60 10 lb ft)(2) Put 9S3263 Thread Lock on the threads of two plugs before installation.(3) Put engine oil on the oil filter seal. Put filter in position and tighten until the seal makes contact with the base. Turn the filter an additional 270 degrees (3/4 turn).Oil Bypass Valves
