Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Use the 2S-3230 Grease Cartridge on all bearings and the drive assembly. Put a thin layer of SAE 10W oil on all other parts before assembly.

Install the O-ring seals (1) on the cylinder (2). Install the cylinder in the housing (3). Ensure that the pin (4) is in alignment with the slot (5) in the housing (3).

Install the O-ring seal (6) on the cylinder (2).

Install the end plate (7) on the rotor (8).

Install the O-ring seal (9) on the rotor shaft.

Install the bearing (10) over the rotor shaft and in the end plate.

Install the nut (11) on the rotor shaft with the shoulder toward the bearing.

Tighten the nut until there is 0.03 to 0.08 mm (0.001 to 0.003 inch) of clearance between the end plate and the rotor. Use a feeler gauge in order to check the clearance. Tighten the bolt (12). Check the clearance again.

Install the rotor (8) in the motor housing (3) with the pinion end of the rotor toward the cylinder alignment pin. Ensure that the pin (13) is in alignment with the hole in the end plate.
