The AccuGrade operating screen is the screen the operator will use the most while operating the AccuGrade System. The AccuGrade operating screen is the first screen that will appear when the operator enters the display's AccuGrade mode. This screen will include the following information:
Elevation offset or elevation errorNote: The elevation offset or the elevation error is dependent on the operating mode that is selected by the operator.
Automatic Control Status
Grade Indicator (above, below or on-grade)Refer to Illustration 2 for a representation of the primary AccuGrade screen.This image represents the appearance of the AccuGrade screen when the operator has chosen to use metric units. When the operator has chosen to operate in feet, then all the segments of the digit between the "5" and the "A" will remain off at all times.When the operator has configured the system to work in metric units, then the elevation data is displayed in meters and the value will be shown to three decimal places (thousandths of a meter). When the operator has configured the system to operate in English units, then the elevation data is displayed in decimal feet and the value will be shown to two decimal places. All segments of the fifth seven segment digit will then remain off at all times when using English units. Units are configured in the service mode of the display. Upon entering service mode, press the mode button (3) until a "C" or "F" is illuminated on the display. Press the Up (1) or Down (2) arrow in order to change the setting. When the "C" is displayed, the data is shown in meters. When the "F" is displayed, the data is shown in English units (decimal feet for elevation data).

Under certain operating conditions the display will show all dashes for the offset/elevation data. For example, the LCD will display the information that is represented in Illustration 3. The gray digits represent all segments of the seven segment digit turned off.

The AMICS display may show a screen that is similar to Illustration 4 when there is an error in the system. The gray digit represents all segments of the seven segment digit that are turned off. The operator would then be able to cross-reference this code in order to troubleshoot the problem.Auto/Manual Indicator
