PROBLEM
The existing 1000 psi pressure gauges, inside the hydraulic enclosure, on certain 794 AC Off-Highway Trucks, can be subject to transient pressure spikes greater than 1000 psi. These pressure spikes can damage the pressure gauge where it may not properly zero. If the pressure gauge does not properly zero with pressure removed, the pressure measurement during normal operation may be inaccurate.

ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the three 0-1000 psi pressure gauges inside the hydraulic enclosure with 0-2000 psi pressure gauges. Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see Service Magazine M0078127 to replace the gauges.
