(1) Motor with top and bottom mounting flanges. (2, 3) Motor with continuous mounting flange.Adaptable To: The mounting flange on the improved motor has been redesigned. The bolt pattern now follows the perimeter of the motor to provide a more uniform and secure fit. The new profile increases the number of bolts from 8 to 12. The carriage bolts have been replaced with 12 point, high strength bolts that are now assembled through the chain box. The chain box has been widened to accommodate this change. The 3.5mm washer has been replaced with either two 3mm washers or a single 6mm washer to increase mount stiffness. Refer to Table 1 for more details. An o-ring is now used to provide sealing at the joint, replacing the anaerobic sealant that was previously used.Note: Frame changes were made to accommodate the improved 358-4984 Piston Motor Gp and 358-4986 Piston Motor Gp. Due to these changes, the new motors are not compatible with earlier Skid Steer Loaders.
