G3600The new Special Instruction, REHS1451, "Procedure for Protection of the Oil System During Major Repair" is available. This special instruction documents some of the guidelines that should be followed in order to protect the oil system when the engine is undergoing a major repair. This special instruction will document the following steps:
Protect the oil system prior to repair and during repair.
Flush the oil system prior to reassembly of components.
Determine the cleanliness of the oil system prior to the engine commissioning and after engine repair.This special instruction is available through normal literature ordering channels. The new Special Instruction, REHS1451, "Procedure for Protection of the Oil System During Major Repair" is also available for electronic distribution in the Service Information System (SIS).
