There is a problem when the Reman 10R-8660 Water Pump Gp is ordered for a repair on the engines listed above. The gasket kit included with 10R-8660 Water Pump Gp does not include the required 6V-7703 O-Ring Seal .Solution

When ordering 10R-8660 Water Pump Gp for the repair, ensure that one 6V-7703 O-Ring Seal is also ordered. Refer to Illustrations 1 and 2. This issue is being addressed by the addition of the 6V-7703 O-Ring Seal to the 299-7436 Gasket Kit included with 10R-8660 Water Pump Gp .When ordering this water pump, a note is being added to the "Parts Ordering System" stating that the seal needs to be ordered also.
