Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the tires and wheels. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Tires and Wheels (Rear) - Remove and Install".
Remove the rear axle. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Rear Axle - Remove".
Remove the axle housings. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Rear Axle Housing - Remove".

Remove cotter pin (1). Install long bolt (3) in place of the short bolt in order to hold the flange stationary. Remove nut (2) .

Remove washer (4) and flange (5) .

Remove bolts (6) and bracket (7) .

Remove the remaining pinion bolts (8) .

Remove guard (9) for the pinion assembly.

Remove pinion assembly (10) from the differential housing.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to remove differential case (11) from the differential housing.
