Information:
1. Depress both brake pedals. 2. Push brake lock to ON position. 3. Push speed selector to NEUTRAL. 4. Pull safety lock to ON position. 5. Push power take-off clutch lever to DISENGAGE position. 6. Turn disconnect switch to ON.
Never turn disconnect switch OFF with engine running.
7. Push in and turn HEATSTART switch to HEAT if necessary for indicated time (see Starting Aid Chart).8. Push in and turn HEATSTART switch to START. Release switch as soon as engine starts. 19. When engine starts, it may be necessary to return HEATSTART switch to HEAT until engine runs smoothly.1If engine does not start after 10 seconds, switch to HEAT for 30 seconds, then to START. Starting With Boost
Attach ground cable last, and remove first, to prevent sparks from occurring near the battery which could cause battery vapors to explode. Attach ground cable from booster battery to frame of machine to be started at a point away from, and below, the battery on the machine to be started.
When using jumper cables, be sure to connect in parallel: POSITIVE (+) to POSITIVE (+) and NEGATIVE (-) to NEGATIVE (-).
