Tests
Flow Checking
To check flow to main distributor, disconnect fittings at valve inlet and select “Continuous Test” mode within cab display.Note: If supply line is disconnected from main distributor for more than 12 minutes while in either test mode, warning will appear in cab.Pin Joint Priming
Each pin joint is equipped with a redundant grease fitting. Use this fitting to fill joint. Joint is full when fresh grease is seen in joint.Single Test Mode
Single Test mode is “Stroke Count” based operation. This test mode will execute the prescribed stroke parameter seen within CAT ET (Autolube Cycle Configuration). This Single Test Cycle typically takes less than 10 minutes to complete.Continuous Test Mode
Continuous Test Mode is time-based for operation. This test mode will actuate the pump and valves continuously for 30 minutes.Duty Cycle – High/Medium/Low
The Duty Cycle of the system is based on time. The Medium setting is the factory default and will allow the pump to initiate a new cycle every 30 minutes. If “High” is selected, the 30 minute time will be decreased by 25% (7.5 minutes – 30 minutes = New cycle time…22.5 minutes). After selecting “High” a new cycle will be initiated every 22.5 minutes. If “Low” is selected, the system will add 25% of 30 minutes to the cycle time (new cycle time = 37.5 minutes).Note: System pauses (as defined in Product Link) when machine is idling.Stroke Count – CAT ET Adjustment
Within CAT ET configurations, a Stroke Count parameter (Autolube Cycle Configuration) is available. This parameter is unique to the machine and should not be tampered with unless necessary. This setting is initially set by factory defaults according to machine-specific calculations. The stroke count is the reading that the Main Valve sensor emits as the Main Valve spool moves back and forth due to grease flow. The more strokes that are seen, the more grease flow is sent through system and ultimately to the machine. If factory defaults are proving more or less greasing than what is needed in application, increment this parameter slowly in either direction to avoid over (or under) greasing. Changing the stroke parameter will change the amount of grease delivered to the machine in the given cycle time of 30 minutes (assuming default cycle setting is selected).
