Lower the temperature of bearing cups (10) and (12). Use Tooling (A) to install bearing cups (10) and (12) into ejector carrier roller (11).
Pack bearing cone (9) with Tooling (B).
Install bearing cone (9) into ejector carrier roller (11).
Use Tooling (A) to install lip seal (8) into ejector carrier roller (11).
Lower the temperature of shaft assembly (1). Install shaft assembly (1) into ejector carrier roller (11).
Fill the cavity between bearing cone (9) and bearing cup (12) with Tooling (B).
Raise the temperature of bearing cone (2). Install bearing cone (2) onto shaft assembly (1).
Install retainer (3) and bolts (4) onto shaft assembly (1). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 430 60 N m (317 44 lb ft).
Pack bearing cone (2) with Tooling (B).
Pack the remaining cavity until ejector carrier roller (11) is filled with Tooling (B).
Install gasket (5), cover (6), and bolts (7) onto ejector carrier roller (11). End By:
Install the ejector carrier roller.
