A     1P-1857     Retaining Ring Pliers     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Install valve (26), spring (25), guide (24), body (23), and plug (22) in the hydraulic tank.

Install tube (20), valve (19), spring (18), and spacer (17) in screen assembly (15) .
Place screen assembly (15) in a press. Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (16) in screen assembly (15) .

Install filter (14) in screen assembly (15). Install bolt (13) in screen assembly (15) and install nut (12) on bolt (13) .

Install base (11) on the hydraulic tank.

Install strainer assembly (10) .

Install plug (9), fitting (8), and sensor (7). Install pipe (6) and flange bolts (5). Install cover (4) and the bolts. Install element assembly (3). Install pressure relief valve (2) and cap (1) .End By: Install the hydraulic tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Tank - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
