Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the parking brake control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Parking Brake Control Valve - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.Note: The only serviceable parts in the parking brake control valve are lever (11), rivet (8), cap nut (5), O-ring seal (6), and O-ring seal (10) .

Position parking brake control valve (1) on a suitable work bench.

Remove cap nut (5) from body (2) .
Remove O-ring seal (6) .
Remove spring (3) .
Remove seal plate (4) .

If necessary, remove setscrew (7) .

Remove rivet (8) from body (2) .

Remove lever (11) .
Remove plunger (12) .
Remove O-ring seal (10) .
Remove spring (9) .
