The swivel supplies pump oil from the upper structure to the left travel motor, the right travel motor, the blade cylinder and the variable gauge cylinder. These components are located in the lower structure.The upper structure and rotor (9) swing. The lower structure and housing (10) do not swing.Housing (10) is bolted to the lower structure. Support arm (11) is mounted to rotor (9). Support arm (11) is secured to the upper structure in order to prevent rotation. Rotor (9) rotates within housing (10).The ports of housing (10) are open to the ports of rotor (9). Passages in housing (10) and the passages in rotor (9) connect the ports.Reference: Refer to Table 1 for the functions controlled by the ports of rotor (9) and housing (10).Seals are provided between the sliding surfaces of housing (10) and rotor (9). The seals prevent oil leakage between the passages.
