Clean the outside diameter of the crankshaft.Note: Install the crankshaft rear seal with the arrow that shows the direction of crankshaft rotation toward the rear of the engine.
Use Tooling (E) to install crankshaft wear sleeve (2) and crankshaft rear seal (1) as a unit.Note: Use Tooling (F) when the rear gear group is installed.End By:
Install the flywheel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel - Remove and Install".
