Procedure to Replace the Bracket Assembly for the GPS Antenna

Move the machine to a smooth, level, and horizontal location. Move to an area that is free of machines and personnel.
Engage the parking brake.
Lower all equipment to the ground and activate any control locks.
Shut off the engine.
Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position and remove the engine start switch key.
Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine. Also, all personnel should be visible to the operator.
Place chocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.Procedure

(B) Cable assembly
(C) Bracket assembly

(F) Clip
Disconnect cable assembly (B) from GPS Antenna (A).
Remove GPS Antenna (A) from bracket assembly (C). Retain GPS Antenna (A) and all associated mounting hardware.
Remove bolts (D) and washers (E) that secure clips (F) to bracket assembly (C). Retain bolts (D), washers (E), and clips (F).Note: Clips (F), that are secured with cable straps to cable assembly (B), do not need to be removed from cable assembly (B).

Remove bolts (G) and washers (H) that secure bracket assembly (C) to the mast assembly. Discard bolts (G), washers (H), and bracket assembly (C).

Secure bracket assembly (1) to the mast assembly by using two bolts (2) and two hard washers (3).

Secure GPS Antenna (A) to the top of bracket assembly (1). Apply Threadlocker Loctite 243 to the threads of the screws prior to installation. Tighten the screws to 1.9 0.1 N m (17 0.9 lb in).
Connect cable assembly (B) to GPS Antenna (A). Apply Threadlocker Loctite 243 to the threads prior to installation. Tighten to 1.6 0.1 N m (14 0.9 lb in).
Secure retained clips (F) to bracket assembly (1) by using two retained bolts (D) and two retained washers (E).
