If there has been a previous repair, part age/hours will apply. Retain a copy of the previous repair invoice in the dealer's records for audit purposes, and specify repair date and machine hours in the "Additional Comments" section of the warranty claim.
Note: Labor is only allowed if performed as a before failure repair in the 0 - 8000 hour range.

Rework Procedure
Group Number 1
This group requires all 3 repairs performed so while opening the engine up to rework the Valve Clips also replace the NRS Cooler and High Pressure Fuel Pump
Details for replacing the Valve Lifters and Guide Springs.
Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "C9.3 Engines for Caterpillar Built Machines".
Refer to "Cylinder Head - Remove".
Refer to "Lifter Group - Remove and Install".
Details for replacing the NRS Cooler.
Replace NRS cooler with the new NRS cooler design following instructions outlined in Service Magazine, M0085324, "A New NOx Reduction System Cooler Group Is Now Used on All C9.3 Tier 4 Interim Machine Engines".
Additional system checks may be required. Refer to Special Instruction, M0069778, "System Check after an NOx Reduction System (NRS) Cooler Failure for C9.3 through C18 Tier 4 Engines".
Refer to Special Instruction, M0070968, "Coolant Drain and Vacuum Fill Procedure For Certain C9.3 Through C18 Tier 4 Engines", for the proper coolant drain and fill procedure.
