Approaching SWL Limit Load at lifting point is close to Safe Working Load. Be cautious and operate gently machine and arm controls.
SWL Limit Reached Load at lifting point has reached the Safe Working Load. Follow Smart Control System authorized movements.
Depending on lifting condition:
- Reduce load
- Swing machine toward 0 degrees or 180 degrees
- Bring load closer to the machine to increase load lifting capacities
SWL Limit Exceeded Load at lifting point exceeds the Safe Working Load. Acknowledge warning message on Smart Control System display. Follow Smart Control System authorized movements.
Depending on lifting condition:

- Swing machine toward 0 degrees or 180 degrees

Height Limit exceeded Toolpoint has exceeded the height limit. Acknowledge warning message on Smart Control System display. Follow Smart Control System authorized movements.

No lifting/working. Missing counterweight Standard counterweight has been removed to travel with the machine on public road. Once traveling is done, put back standard counterweight before working with the machine.
Lift and Carry. Check machine capacities Lift and carry operation is detected when lift mode is active on Smart Control System and travel pedal is pressed. Before any lift and carry operation, closely review the lift and carry capacity chart in the Operating and Maintenance Manual, "Lifting Capacities".
Travel Prohibited Rail traveling is not allowed in the current position or state of the machine.
Possible causes:
- Travel pedal is inactive due to machine failure
OR
- Park brake engaged Action:
- Solve machine failure. Contact your Cat dealer to service the machine.
OR
- Release park brakes
Rail Traveling Mode Inactive Swing lock and work tool function are disabled. To activate rail traveling mode, enable swing lock and swing gently the machine to 0 degrees or 180 degrees.
Rail Traveling Mode Active Swing lock and work tool function are enabled. To disable rail traveling mode, disable swing lock and work tool function.
Low Air Braking Pressure Pressure inside air tank is below 6 bar. Depend on machine condition:
- Stop moving with convoy.
- Wait until sufficient pressure is reached. Contact your Cat dealer if message does not disappear.
Low Air Braking Pressure Detection Failure Loss of signal for air pressure inside air tank. Stop moving with convoy.
