A 138-7575 Link Bracket 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the installation procedure, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble.
Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Lubricate all of the O-ring seals lightly with the oil that is being sealed.

Install Tool (A) (not shown) to pump drive (1) at the location (X). Attach Tool (A) to a suitable lifting device and a hoist in order to position pump drive (1). The weight of pump drive (1) is 72.57 kg (160 lb).
Use four bolts (6) and the washers in order to install pump drive (1). Remove Tool (A).
Install tee (7).
Connect hose assemblies (5) and (8).

Connect hose assembly (4).

Position drive shaft (2) and install four bolts (3) and the washers. Tighten four bolts (3) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40.6 7.4 lb ft). End By:
Install the piston pump (steering). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Steering) - Install".
Install the gear pump (torque converter and parking brake release). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Torque Converter and Parking Brake Release) - Install".
Install the gear pump (hoist). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Hoist and Rear Brake Cooling) - Install".
Install the drive shaft guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft Gaurd - Remove and Install".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
